In doing devotions this past week, a revelation came.
When Moses first went to free the Israelites from Egypt, they were not ready to leave. They were comfortable. It wasn't until after ten plagues sent by God on the Egyptians (and some on Israel) that people were awake enough and ready to make the change that needed to happen.
How long will we wait to understand that God wants to move us? What circumstances need to be orchestrated to get us to move? Are we too Ā comfortable in our own situations that we have stopped looking up?
